She was beautiful, and very sturdy and calm out on the water. A little 30 minute jaunt along the Whitstable coastline was perfect. Kelly told us a bit about the area, a bit about the boat, whilst Steve at the helm steadily steered us around. The sun was shining, the water calm, and we had great visibility - I could even see the forts (just about) on the horizon. Kelly showed us some photos and explained a bit about the forts and a couple of my fellow passengers decided that was better than being driven far out to sea just for a quick glimpse. I can thoroughly recommend this boat trip - the most memorable time I have spent in Whitstable. Really happy to have experienced the old lifeboat. The crew and booking team were all very friendly, passionate and knowledgeable. Very good experience.

It's a lovely steady run up to the sandbank, where you get plenty of time to see the magical seals. You get a really good view of the seals, but at a respectful distance - they weren't disturbed at all.

What makes this extra special is the beautiful wooden, vintage lifeboat. It makes the experience even more memorable and special.
